Daisy Flower Bouquet Cake for Easter

EASTER CAKE - The Son Has Risen

Here are some cakes and cupcakes that are perfect for Easter. They have flowers and bright colors for this holiday. The “Son” cake is a 7 inch round cake that is covered and decorated in fondant. I baked the sun cake using one half of the Wilton Ball cake pan for the dome on top. I then covered it in yellow fondant and decorated it with “sun rays” made of yellow gumpaste. (I made the sun rays 2 days before so they had time to harden and dry) 
 Below is the bottom cake of the ‘Son Has Risen” cake. I just wanted to show the detail in the  fondant decorations. The clouds are actually made of white royal icing, piped in a cloud shape.
